 | Educational Philosophy In the early years of life, a solid foundation of skills, and a love and excitement for learning is essential. Confidence is gained by mastering skills which sets children on a strong path to life-long learning. A child's ability to learn depends greatly upon what he or she has already experienced. Exposing them to a variety of material fosters curiosity. It expands their minds with new knowledge and enlarges the world around them.

TUITION - Tuition is due on the 1st school day of the month. Timely payments are appreciated and saves you a $10 late fee. Tutition payments by check can be dropped in the payments boxes located in the front of the building and in the front office. Teachers are not responsible for receiving payments. CLOTHING - There is no uniform required; modest comfortable playwear is acceptable. Girls need to wear shorts or tights under their dresses or skirts. At preschool, we play hard and work hard. Very nice clothing does not need to be worn. Paint smocks are worn when we are painting, but sleeves still slip down. Throughout the year, we play outside for recess, with a few exceptions of harsh weather, so dress appropriately for the weather. Please label jackets and coats with names.
BATHROOM - Children are expected to handle their needed bathroom functions sufficiently on their own. Please wear manageable clothing. All children need to be potty trained.
SHOW-N-TELL - Please encourage your children to bring something interesting. Items of nature, family photos, family trip pictures are great or a picture they drew is good (not too many toys please). The intent of show and tell is not the object itself, rather the opportunity of public speaking for your child and having the other children listen politely. So even if they don't bring anything, we'll have them share an experience.
BIRTHDAYS - Birthdays really are special. We'd like to spotlight your child so bring a few pictures of them when they were younger. Those with summer birthdays may bring pictures at anytime, just coordinate with the teacher.
FIELD TRIPS - are provide great opportunites in expanding your child's world with hands on learning. Parents are encouraged to attend with us. Meet us at the field trip location for arrival and departure, unless other arrangements have been made for carpooling. Parents need to sign a permission slip for their child to be able to attend each field trip. VOLUNTEERS - Parents can assist in the classroom. Children really enjoy having their parents there helping and parents can meet their children's friends. CLASSROOMS are governed by the rule of RESPECT : Friends, Property and Self.
