The Mini's About My Smart World

Our Educational Philosophy

In the early years of life, a solid foundation of skills and a love of learning is essential in the development of children. Exposing children to a variety of material fosters curiosity. Expanding children's minds with new knowledge enlarges their world, and builds self-confidence.

"Children who attend well-planned, high-quality early childhood programs in which curriculum aims are specified and integrated across domains tend to learn more and are better prepared to master the complex demands of formal schooling... "
from Eager to Learn (2001), National Research Council, Washington, D.C.

My Smart World Learning Center, established in September 2001, is dedicated to the education of young children.

Successful teaching and increasing enrollment, led to the construction of a new building in August 2005. Upon completion in April 2006, a grand opening celebration was conducted by Lindon city officials. The children sang the school’s theme song, “It’s My Smart World” words adapted from “It’s a Small World” music.

The new facility has four classrooms, a large gym, and a fenced outside play area. Each classroom has lowered counter tops, a drinking fountain, and individual cubbies for children to hang their coats and backpacks.

My Smart World Learning Center uses Nationally acclaimed Curricula.
